"Gers"
Mostly in the larger lakes. A common side catch when using nets during the autumn. Aslimy and prickly character, usually causing the netfishermen a lot of trouble.

It has no greater value as a sportsfish or as a foodfish. The perch, however, is rather fond of the "Gers", which is common in most of the lakes in Dalsland.
