Large Perch from Lake Lelång!

Annika Nerstrand, Bengtsfors, with a 1,7 kg perch, which was caught on a light spinning rod and a jig on a day at the end of August.

On the same occasion several large perch were fighting around the jig. Two giant specimen were lost, due to a forgotten bag net. The one in the picture, though, was eventually defeated.

The fishing for giant perch is usually most rewarding in the early summer (June) around piles of brushwood. A detailed map covering the lake Lelång south area with all piles of brushwood marked can be bought at all fishing licence selling places.
