M/S Annica- a genuine wooden fishing boat.

The rod fishing on board M/S Annica is mainly aiming at catching pike and perch.

The perch may well be angled near piles of brushwood, so-called "risvasar", where the fish gather for both protection and hunting. Spinning and jigging are also practicable fishing methods. For the successful perch fishing smaller jigs and spinners are recommended.

Pike fishing is mostly done with trolling. Larger wobblers and spoons are both safe bets. In addition, it is possible to anchor in a bay and throw along the edge of the reeds- all depending on the wishes of our guests. Sometimes we can drag the anchor above a shoal, jigging for hungry perch.

If the fish is found on these occassions you might have won the fishing jackpot, both in terms of numbers and sizes of the fish. Of course, a bit of luck is always good to bring.
