Örnäs Camping is situated at the edge of Åmål, on a tongue of land in Lake Vänern. Anglers come from far and wide to fish in Lake Vänern and in the smaller lakes found nearby.

Örnäs Camping provides angler-friendly accommodation in different types of cabins. There is a boat launching ramp, parking, reception/kiosk, summer restaurant, marina, and fishing services such as weather information, maps, facilities for gutting fish, etc.

The fishing in Lake Vänern is absolutely world class! Trolling for salmon and salmon trout in Vänern has quickly become known in sport fishing circles all over the world. Fishing for pike and perch, and in some areas even zander, is also excellent! Salmon and salmon trout fishing is good all year round, but even better during the colder seasons. Pike and perch fishing is best in the summer.

If you would like, it is possible to arrange for a fishing guide and a boat for trolling. Talk to Leif Källstedt in reception.
